5 Easy Steps to a 5 Color Experiment
1) Open Cell Quest. Connect to Cytometer. Open “Detectors/Amps” window under the “Cytometer” menu.
2) Check the box DDM in the “Detectors/Amps” window in Cell Quest, and make sure you have selected to save all parameters.
3) Open Rainbow Software.
4) Select FL4 and FL5 by clicking the radio buttons in Rainbow Software
5) You are ready to run a 5 color experiment!
Use the table below as a guide for controlling PMT voltages and compensation values. If you would like to load instrument settings, you can load them from a previous data file in Cell Quest, and then also in Rainbow Software under the “File- Open Settings” menu; Instrument settings must be loaded in both software packages separately.
